    Lucy O’Brien is Director at PRCG | Haggerty, with a diverse background in writing, editing and public relations, as well as crisis and litigation communications. She takes a special focus on using strategic messaging and effective positioning to advance ESG initiatives and environmental programs. Lucy has worked closely with law firms, biotechnology companies, financial firms and nonprofits on a variety of assignments. She handled communications elements of one of the largest environmental tort claims in history: the landmark lawsuit against the United Nations on behalf of victims of the Haitian cholera disaster.

    Lucy graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Art History and French Language and Literature from Fordham University, where she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu and Phi Beta Kappa Honors Societies. She also received Highest Honors for her thesis, presented in French, on a Haitian novel’s portrayal of the psychological effects of violence against women. While completing her degree, Lucy worked with a cosmetic innovation consulting company in Nanterre, France.
