PRCG counselors Thom Weidlich and James F. Haggerty authored an article this week for PR News entitled “Understanding a Lawsuit News Flow for Optimum Communications Strategy.”

In the article Weidlich and Haggerty argue that one of the biggest challenges in handling media relations around a lawsuit is understanding the rise and fall of media interest as the litigation drags on (as it typically does). In response, the authors lay out a short description of a typical litigation, for a better understanding of the “media moments” that might generate public interest as the court case moves forward.
