BIOGRAPHY
Lucy O’Brien is Director at PRCG | Haggerty, with a diverse background in writing, editing and public relations, as well as crisis and litigation communications. Lucy has worked closely with law firms, biotechnology companies, financial firms and nonprofits on a variety of assignments. She has managed crisis and media training for international companies, and has a special focus on using strategic messaging and effective positioning to advance ESG initiatives and environmental programs. Her work has also included managing the communications elements of one of the largest environmental tort claims in history: the landmark lawsuit against the United Nations on behalf of victims of the Haitian cholera disaster.
Lucy graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Art History and French Language and Literature from Fordham University, where she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu and Phi Beta Kappa Honors Societies. She also received Highest Honors for her thesis, presented in French, on a Haitian novel’s portrayal of the psychological effects of violence against women. While completing her degree, Lucy worked with a cosmetic innovation consulting company in Nanterre, France.
