PRCG is pleased to announce that groundbreaking crisis communications software developed by its sister company, CrisisResponsePro, is now an award winner!

CrisisResponsePro, cloud-based, collaborative software that brings the crisis communications team together and provides tools, templates and resources for efficient and effective response, has been selected as a winner of the Red Herring Top 100 North America awards, a prestigious list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures based in North America.

Quality Companies, Real Innovation

I founded CrisisResponsePro in 2015 as a separate company because I saw a real need: a need for software to streamline and accelerate the process of responding when a organization faces unexpected events that threaten to damage their reputation and, ultimately, their business. Last week, I traveled to Newport Beach, California and presented our software at an event where Red Herring announced its Top 100 North America award winners. The award “recognizes the startups’ innovation and vision across their respective industries.”

In speaking and networking with other tech CEOs, I was amazed and the quality of the companies they represented and the many ways technology was streamlining and improving the way businesses operate. This wasn’t pizza delivery apps or new ways to hail a cab. This was real change.

Red Herring selects its award winners from approximately 1,200 privately financed companies each year in the US and Canada. In years past, the editors have been among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype,, YouTube, Palo Alto Networks and eBay would change the way we live and work.

They’ve been selecting the most exciting and promising start-ups since 1996.

Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation and intellectual property, DNA of the founders, business model, customer footprint and market penetration. This assessment of potential was complemented by a review of the track record and standing of startups relative to their sector peers, allowing Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models in North America.

Needless to say, we’re honored to have been selected as a Red Herring award winner. When we started CrisisResponsePro, we set out to create a simple, intuitive platform that makes all members of the crisis communications team better at when they do. I like to say it’s a Bloomberg Terminal of crisis communications, ensuring organizations and their legal and PR advisors can collaborate at the speed of the modern crisis, with tools, resources and secure cloud-based storage that puts crisis communications response at your fingertips.

It’s great to be recognized… and even more satisfying to see that our product is providing customer with an efficient and effective tool for crisis and litigation communications.
